Lakeland: Donald Ray Moore, 61, of Lakeland, died June 13, 2012 from heart failure. He was born on September 14, 1950 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Don worked throughout his life as a manager for several convenient stores. As his sons grew older, his true passion was coaching them in both football and baseball. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Nancy; sons; Steven Moore and his wife Tamiesa, Brian Moore and John Moore; grandchildren; Lane Thomas Moore and Chelsea Lynn Moore. I cant imagine going to Sunoco without Don greeting me outside when he seen me pull up. Every year he got a huge smile on his face when I would arrive at his station awarding random customers with gift cards. Don will be missed. I am sorry for your loss.
