Lakeland- Walter E. Faircloth, Sr. died on August 15, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Health. He was born April 28, 1929 in Thomasville, GA. He was Baptist faith. Mr. Walter Faircloth served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and was stationed in Germany.
He was predeceased by his parents, his two brothers, Albert and Emmitt, and two sisters, Alma and Vivian. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Lydia; two sons, Walter Jr. (Gene) and Barry; two daughters, Sharon and Karen; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Tribute Center at Heath Funeral Chapel, and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
