Betty M. Norman, 85 GTE, Draft Person Lakeland " Betty M. Norman Passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was born on September 8, 1929 in Pierce, FL. Betty was a draft person for GTE for many years. She was a member of Highlands Baptist Church of Lakeland for 10 years and a member of the Homemakers club in Bartow. Betty is preceded in death by husband W. Dewey Norman, Brother Kenneth B. McQuady and Sister Mary McQuady Collins. Betty is survived by Son Ken Norman (Linda) of Lakeland, Daughter Neva Bisset (Max) of Miami, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00 am with a service following at Highlands Baptist Church at 11:00 am 4210 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL 33813. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. Memorial donations may be made to Highlands Baptist Church or Highlands Christian Academy.
