David Paul Anderson

On April 19, 2023, David Anderson, of Lakeland, FL, loving husband of Mary Lib Anderson (Mary E), passed away at the age of 70. David was born on October 13, 1952, in Lakeland to Joan and Jim Anderson.

He graduated from Lakeland High School and USF.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Lib Anderson whom he married September 18, 1976, in Tampa, FL. He is also survived by his son, Anthony Charles (Tony) Anderson, Lakeland, FL; sister, Linda Anderson, Beacon, NY; and brother, Tom Anderson (Lisa), Fernandina Beach, FL; and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded by his father, James D. Anderson and brother, Dr. James D. Anderson, Jr., (Kathy), Atlanta, GA. David worked in the family business with Anderson Citrus.

He was also in the furniture making business with Anderson-Reed. He had a very long career with the Clerk of Circuit Court as a Court Clerk II in Hillsborough County.

David was very active at First Presbyterian Church playing both the piano and organ. He was also a Deacon. He was in the Scouts also. His hobbies were cooking, genealogy, watching old movies and PBS.

The service will be held on April 29, 2023, at 2pm at First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland, FL.
