Deloris Maxine Grady

Deloris Maxine Grady, 86 Accountant Lakeland " Deloris Maxine Grady, 86, died of a stroke Friday, July 18, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born February, 1926, in Elkhart, Indiana, she moved to Florida in 1970. In 1973, she started work as an accountant with the Department of Citrus. She retired in 1995 as Revenue Accountant. Deloris was a resident of Beacon Terrace, where she had been an active member of the Home Owners Association, serving on the board and as President for several years. She was also active with the Federation of Manufactured Mobile Home Owners of Florida (FMO), working tirelessly to preserve the rights and interests of her community. Deloris is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Kelver Long and Haskell Long of Elkhart, Indiana and Auburndale, Florida as well as her brother, Donald Long. She is Survived by her son Gregory Grady and his wife Tammy Grady of Lakeland and two grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan. A visitation will be held form 5-7 pm on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida.
