Helen Erb Murphy Roberts

Helen M. Roberts, 97 Lakeland " Helen Erb Murphy Roberts was born on January 25, 1918. Helen died from natural causes on Monday, January 26, 2015. She was born in Middletown, Ohio. She moved to the West Palm Beach, Florida area when she was 10 years old. She attended the Florida State College for Women and graduated from the University of Cincinnati. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Helen married George Roberts and lived in Cincinnati until they moved to Lakeland in retirement. Helen was a member of First Presbyterian Church and PEO chapter CP. Helen was predeceased by her husband, George. She is survived by her daughter, Betsy Sklenicka (Russ) of Lakeland, Florida; her son, George Roberts (Salli) of Amelia Island, Florida; three grandchildren: Kim Murawski (Dan) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; Holly Roberts of New York, New York; and Scott Sklenicka (Laura) of Atlantic Beach, Florida; and 5 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date.
