Joanne Elaine James, 68 Dietary Aide/Nursing Home Lakeland - Joanne Elaine James, 68 of Lakeland, FL. passed away on Monday Dec. 29th, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to heart failure. She was born in Webster, Mass. on Oct. 27th of 1946. Joanne was retired but was employed as a cook at Wedgewood Retirement Community previously as well as other retirement centers in Lakeland, Fl. and in Sioux Falls, S.D. She is survived in death by her sons Kenneth Burns of Lakeland, FL. and Kevin Burns of Kenton, Oh, her Mother Angelina Menzone and brother Al Menzone both of Beverly, Mass. Her funeral service will be held at the Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave. in Lakeland with interment at Oak Hill Burial Park. She can be viewed starting at 1-2 pm Friday January 9th with the service beginning at 2 pm.
