Joyce M. Cauthen

Lakeland- Joyce Cauthen, 90, passed away peacefully in her home on February 11, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She managed Southside Cleaners on Florida Avenue for over 20 years and was an active member of South Florida Avenue Church of Christ for over 10 years before she moved to Georgia to live with her daughter. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Cauthen; her sisters, Nadine Hess and Raynell Coleman; brother, Herschel Williams; and son, Jimmy Cauthen. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bethea; son, Jerry Cauthen (Debra); daughter-in-law, Linda Cauthen; granddaughters, Dena Didas (Rory), Tara Cauthen, Tiffany Calvert, Shanna Thompson (Bryan), and Christina Wong (Will); and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
