Mary A Rodda

Mary A. Rodda Medical Assistant Lakeland- Mrs. Mary A. Rodda died at Opis Highlands Lake Center on November 25, 2017. She was born November 14, 1931 in LaSalle, Illinois. She relocated her family to Lakeland in 1971. Mary attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albert R. Rodda, her daughter Kathy Holmes, and 2 sisters, Carm Mis and Josephine Smith. Survivors include daughter, Cindy (George) Hayes; sons, John (Becky) Rodda, and Jodie (Phyllis) Rodda; 7 grandchildren, Ed Kendrick, Gina Lawson, Jason Rodda, Niki Bulman, Charlie Hayes, Joseph Rodda, and Leslie Blondell; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter; one sister, Isabelle Furar; and 3 brothers, Joseph Polizzi, Nino Polizzi, and Jim Polizzi. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association of Polk County Gulf Coast Chapter, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd, Suite 709, Clearwater, FL 33762. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday November 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel with a reception to follow the service in the Tribute Center.
