Norman Etgen

Norman P. Etgen, 84 Lakeland - Norman P. Etgen passed away on June 13, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Health Center at peace in the company of family. He was born to John Etgen and Blendine Williams-Etgen on April 12, 1932 in Delphos, OH. He served in the U. S. Army from 1952, during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. He married his wife Rose Trentman on August 10, 1957 and had 8 children. He was the owner of N&N Trailer Repair in Lakeland, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blendine Willaims-Etgen, daughter Nancy Etgen and brother, Nelson Etgen. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Etgen, daughters Beverly (Etgen) Ivins, Judith (Etgen) Yelvington, Linda (Etgen) Deal, Terri (Etgen) Hohl, Kathy (Etgen) Dixon, Marcia Etgen and son John Etgen. Plus,10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20 at St. Joseph""s Catholic Church, 210 West Lemon Street in Lakeland, FL at 1:45 pm, with services at 2:30pm and burial immediately following at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
