Phillip W. Harris, 65 Navy Veteran Lakeland " Born in Anniston, Alabama August 5, 1950, passed away in Lakeland, FL on December 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Ross and Alverna (Hastings) Harris and brother Michael J Harris. He is survived by his wife Sylvia of 29 years, 1 daughter Jessica (David) Peet, 2 granddaughters Shelby (Macaulay) Klein and Sydney Peet, Sisters Bobbie (Billy) Holt of Auburndale, Patricia (Danny) Green of Lakeland, Jackie (Jim) Johnson of Lakeland and six nephews and seven nieces and all the kids he treated like his own, Piper, Brenden, Melissa, Hailey, Seric, Alicia, Austin, Sydney Short, Samantha, Rachel, Travis, Danny, Shandi, Sierra, Aaron and Chance. Phillip was a US Navy Veteran. Serving on the USS Fanning. Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and reading. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 5:30 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel in the Tribute Center.
