Richard Arnold Ficquette, Sr.

Richard A. Ficquette, Sr., 66 Lakeland- Richard A. Ficquette, Sr., age 66, died peacefully at home on May 16, 2015. He was born in Orlando, FL on August 11, 1948. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1970. Richard's career was in sales. He was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Harry Ficquette and his brother Thomas Earl. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan DeRamus Ficquette, three sons Richard A. Ficquette, Jr. (Ashley), Brian N. Ficquette (Courtney), Alex B. Ficquette, two grandchildren (Addison and Makayla), his brother Steve Ficquette (Lydia Ann), and his two nephews (Bert and Arnold). Besides being a devoted family man and good friend, Richard was an avid Gators fan, golfer, and a happy fisherman. His best times were with family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 22, 2015 at Heath Funeral Chapel with a reception immediately following in the Tribute Center.
