Albert Richard Wuellner

Albert Richard Wuellner, 86 Albert Wuellner passed away on May 18, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, at peace, in the company of family. Born in Covington, KY in 1929, Al and his family moved to Lakeland from Cincinnati, OH in 1966. He worked as a draftsman in the phosphate industry and was a Korean War veteran. Al and his wife Shirley worked as foster parents for Catholic Charities for many years and cared for many babies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert J and Clara (Kuhlmann) Wuellner, his sisters Ruth Majewski, Helen Wuellner and brother Clarence Wuellner. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Shirley Wuellner, son Vince Wuellner (Susan), daughter Judy Clenney (Kendall), sisters Dorothy Wuellner and Janet Lutterbei, grandchildren Natalie Mahiques (Courtney), Andrew Wuellner and twin great granddaughters Madalynn and Savannah Mahiques. The family will receive friends at Church of the Resurrection, 3720 Old Highway 37 Lakeland, FL prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, Friday, May 27.
