Anne Cowand Eby

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Anne Cowand Eby on March 4th, 2024. Anne was the cherished wife of Leonard L. Eby, a devoted mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Ann Cowand and Jack Cowand, and her grandson, Jaxon Blair Buerge, Anne leaves behind a legacy of love. She was a beloved mother to Michael Woodham (Marsha), Troy Woodham (Angie), Trisha Buerge (Justin), Raymond Eby (Waverly), Michael Eby (Erin), and Daniel Eby (Sonja), and was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Throughout her 75 years, Anne found joy in family gatherings, exploring new destinations beyond Lakeland, Florida, and her love for the mountains and national parks with her husband. She adored her grandchildren and made every moment count with them. Anne's unwavering love for her family, her warm presence, infectious laughter, and quick wit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a knack for finding humor in all situations and was always ready to offer her wisdom and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice in Anne’s honor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024, at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, FL, at 3 pm, for family and friends to honor her memory.
