Anne D. Wagner

Anne D. Wagner of Lakeland, Florida, died January 3, 2012, of heart failure at the age of 80. She was a dedicated educator who taught at Valleyview, Scott Lake, Rochelle, and North Lakeland elementary schools during a career of more than 25 years, and made a positive difference in countless lives. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, her survivors include R. Bruce Wagner, her beloved husband of more than 60 years; son Carl Wagner, and his wife Jan, of Woodbridge, VA; son Barry Wagner, and his wife Abby, of Gainesville, FL; daughter Karen Hyman, and her husband Randy, of Lakeland, FL; and grandchildren Bruce Wagner and his wife Nikki, Brent Wagner, Amy Dumas and her husband Briton, Daniel Wagner, and Analiese Wagner. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7 at 2 PM at First United Methodist Church of Lakeland, 72 Lake Morton Drive. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service at 1 PM.
