Arthur Smith

Arthur Smith, 85 Carpenter Arthur Smith went to be with our Lord & Savior on December 14, 2014 due to congestive heart failure. He was 85. He was born in Decatur Arkansas on February 22, 1929 to Martin & Nancy Elizabeth Smith. He served in the United States Army as Sargent First Class, Airborne Division. He retired as a carpenter with IMC New Wales. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Irene Smith and son Ronald. He is survived by his daughters, Ronda Mayes of Lakeland, Fl, Denise Ott (Rick) of Claremore Ok, Marilee (David) of Apopka, Fl and his son, Gary Smith (Shannon) of Bartow, Fl. Art has 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm Monday, December 22, 2014 in the chapel at First United Church, Lakeland, Florida.
