Betty Louellen Henderson

Betty LouEllen Henderson, 95 of Lakeland, FL, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024.

She was born on February 16, 1929, in High Springs, FL, to the late J.B. Revels and

Clifford Frances Brown.

Betty retired from Polk County.

Betty enjoyed many activities and going to the beach.

She was a Christian and member of Parkway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Frances Schults-Whitney (Michael Whitney), of New Braunfels, TX, Cheryl Henderson & Gary Sorensen of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jason Parrish, Joshua Burwick, Michael Schultz, Mathew Schultz; great grandchildren, Norman Burwick, Shelby Burwick, Henry Burwick, Hadley Schultz, Parker Schultz, and Sutton Schultz.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford France Brown and J.B. Revels; husband, Walter Bruns Henderson; brother, James Bryant Revels Jr.; sons, James Parrish, Norman Burwick; grandson, Jamie Parrish.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10 am at Parkway Baptist Church with service to follow at 11 am.

Interment at Mt. Enon Memorial Cemetery.

Betty loved her children, her church family, and taking care of her Alzheimer patients. She also loved smiling and laughter.

She had a huge heart and was full of compassion.

Knowing she is no longer in pain or suffering and is with her Heavenly Father brings great comfort.

You are so very loved and missed Mom.
