Bobby Thomas Gunter

Bobby "Bob" Thomas Gunter, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on December 29, 1935, in Sanford, North Carolina to Thomas J. and Ada W. Gunter.

Prior to moving to Florida from North Carolina in 2003, he had been in the automobile business for 40 (+) years in management and sales. In 2003, he and his son founded G & G Electric Services, Inc. of Winter Haven. Bob never met a stranger and always had the "Gift of Gab" with any and everyone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Gunter; grandson, Rodney Mitchell Gunter of Lakeland; granddaughters, Kassidy Ivan of Washington, D.C.; Memphis Welch of Hot Springs, AR.; sister, Shelby Thomas of Ashland, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents; daughters, Tracy Dawn Gunter; and Niche G. Welch; and son, Rodney Scot Gunter.

A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at First

United Methodist Church of Lakeland.
