Carol Ann Carlton

Carol A. Carlton, 79-years-old who resided in Lakeland, Florida, went to heaven on March 2, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Hospital. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

She received her bachelor’s degree in health care administration from Memphis State College and worked in mental health and started Work Loss Management.

Carol retired 25 years ago. She helped start a women’s prison ministry that has operated for more than 15 years.

Carol is survived by her son, Trey, and her husband, Bascom. She was predeceased by one child, Eric, two brothers, Larry and Tim and her parents.

Carol was well respected and loved. She loved to help others and was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
