In Loving Memory of Carol Taylor Sherman.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the much beloved Carol Sherman, who left us on August 21, 2025 at the age of 78.

Carol was a loving wife and mother, a devoted friend, and a Lakeland native who touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her wit, her love of her family and friends, and her devotion to her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley and her husband Tom, and grandchildren Aine and Emrys. She was preceded in passing by her loving husband Dan (in June 2025), as well as both of her sons Daniel and David. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is also survived by her brother Ray, her sister-in-law Becky, and her nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 am to honor her life at First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary in Lakeland.

Following the funeral, an “open house” celebration of life for both Dan and Carol will be held at Cleveland Heights Country Club in Lakeland from 12:30-3:30.
