Carolyn Fullgraf

Carolyn Ruth Green Fullgraf, 69 years old, entered into glory at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland on Sunday December 21, 2025.

Carolyn was born on July 28, 1956 in Huntington West Virginia, to Clyde and Edith Green. She lived with her parents in Chesapeake, Ohio before moving to Hurricane, West Virginia. She graduated from Hurricane High School in June 1974. After graduation she and her parents moved to Lakeland, Florida.

Carolyn worked as a telephone operator at the GTE Telephone Company in the mid 1970’s, and by 1984 she was working in graphic design at Ad Pro in Lakeland. It was there that she met and fell in love with Jeffrey Fullgraf, a photographer and video producer.

Carolyn and Jeffrey married on June 20, 1987 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. While raising four children, Carolyn began teaching at the Covenant Child Development Center (CDC) in 1997. Here she discovered her passion for teaching young children about God’s world and the Bible. Carolyn loved leading children to natural learning and discovery, while fostering a love for God and His word. In 2000, she stepped away from Covenant CDC for nine years to homeschool her children. Once again, her passion for teaching shone brilliantly as she found personal ways to engage each interest they showed and guide their love for learning. She returned to the Covenant Child Development Center and attended Polk State College, later earning her Florida Child Care Professional Credential.

She greatly admired the faithful work and dedication of the pastors of Covenant Presbyterian Church, the missionaries the church supported, and especially the work of Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey; daughter Sylvia Fullgraf, son Alec Fullgraf (Priscila Vasquez Fullgraf), son Kurt Fullgraf (Evelyn LaMons Fullgraf), and daughter Meredith Fullgraf.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Clyde Green, mother Edith Green, and brother James Green.

Her funeral service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday December 27, 2025. There will be a viewing starting at 10:00am, a service at 11:00am, and a graveside service following at Oak Hill Burial Park.
