Cindy Deann Harrington

Cindy Deann Harrington (“Deann”) passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lakeland, Florida, on Aug 8, 2025. She was 66 years old. She is survived by her brother, Scott Harrington, his wife, Monica Goyal, and her nephew, Devin Harrington, from Toronto, Canada.

Deann graduated from Husson College with a degree in Business, earning Dean’s List honors. Following that, she worked as a court clerk in the State of Maine District Court and then in the US Federal Court. Following her desire to care for others, she later worked in Shands Hospital after moving to Florida and pursued a degree in nursing. Following that, she relocated to Toronto, Canada, where her brother lived with his family, and where she worked as a nurse at The Woodhaven nursing home. She later returned to Lakeland, Florida, to be near her aging parents and continued her nursing career by providing home care for children and young adults in the community.

Deann took great pride in her work as a nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others with compassion and skill. She had a love for collecting and creating jewelry and enjoyed exploring local antique and flea markets in search of unique treasures. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her beloved cat, Misty Blue, who was her constant companion.
