Clifford “Cliff” Chilcott, 76, passed away on April 7, 2026.
Cliff was born in Medina, Ohio, and grew up in North Royalton. He later made his home in Mulberry, Florida, where he spent his later years surrounded by family and friends.
A master baker by trade, Cliff dedicated his life to his craft, working in several well-known bakeries throughout his career, including Carrie Cerino’s in Royalton OH, Catalano’s Stop-n-Shop in Highland Heights OH, and Deli Delicacies in Lakeland, Florida. He was known not only for his skill, but for the love he put into everything he baked, often sharing his creations with family and friends.
Cliff found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved baking for others, reading his Bible, fishing, and cheering on Ohio State sports. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted attendee of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his daughters, Jennifer, Jennifer (Timothy), Carrie (Dustin), and Kaylie (Jeremy); his cherished grandchildren, Syerra, Savanna, Shayla, Briella, Aliviana, Andrew, Alice, and Lucy; his great-grandchildren, Luke and Luna; and his brothers, Charles (Robyn) and Clark (Paulette).
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy, and his brothers, Craig and Claude.
A celebration of life will be held on April 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. A graveside service will take place later this summer at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
Cliff will be remembered for his kindness, his strong faith, his dedication to his family, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, and the memories shared by those who loved him.
