Connie Jean Barfield

Connie Jean Barfield, 72, of Lakeland, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in her home.

Ms. Barfield was born June 24, 1951, in Lincoln Illinois to Wilbur and Grace Reeves. She moved to Lakeland in 1970. Connie was a dedicated educator for 40+ years in the Polk County Public Schools system. She was an avid Florida Gators and Miami Dolphins fan and loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Anna Stanfield. Connie is survived by her son, Eric (Jenny) Barfield of Lakeland, Florida; Grandchildren, Johnathon, and Ava Barfield; 6 Siblings, Carol Yard, Eleanor Clements, Mary Lanterman, Roger Reeves, Patsy Bingham, and Linda Cave, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 21st at Heath Funeral Chapel.
