Dennis Pardue, 69, passed away in Lakeland, FL, on September 22, 2025.
Dennis spent his early years in North Carolina and lived most of his life in Lakeland, FL. Throughout the years, he continued to spend time in the Carolinas, drawn to the cooler weather, scenic mountain roads, and opportunities for adventure. He especially enjoyed motocross, motorcycle riding, mountain biking, pulling his grandkids on tubes behind the boat, watching movies with a huge bucket of popcorn, and cheering on his Miami Dolphins.
A skilled mason, Dennis possessed a quiet confidence, self-drive, and deep sense of responsibility that allowed him to build a successful and respected company. In both work and life, he was known for his strong work ethic, fairness, and honesty. He had a natural gift for problem-solving and a quick wit. And if he ever made fun of you—take it as a compliment. It meant he loved and respected you.
Dennis is survived by his children, Jensen Pardue and Heather Hetzel (Jeremiah), as well as many grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and was incredibly proud of.
A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 5–7 PM at one of his favorite restaurants: Beef ‘O’ Brady’s (4810 S. Florida Ave., Lakeland, FL). Friends and family are invited to come together, share stories, and honor a life well lived.
