Donald “Don” Mark Bordelon, 91, of Lakeland Florida passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024. He was born April 25, 1933, in Moreauville, La. to Leonce Paul “Tonky” Bordelon and Jenny Novo Bordelon. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Leonce Paul “LP” Bordelon III. He was a deeply devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Don was a loving husband of over 66 years to Claudette Belanger Bordelon. Together, they raised three children: Donald Mark “Mark” (Patti), Elizabeth “Beth” LeCorgne (Paul), Jeannine Calvit (Mark). He was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Don graduated from Louisiana State University in Chemical Engineering. He was in the ROTC program and served 2 years in the Air Force before beginning his career in engineering. In 1963, the family moved to Lakeland, where he made a career working in the Phosphate industry. After retirement, he and Claudette enjoyed traveling and family get togethers. Don volunteered for Sun & Fun, Read Lakeland, LVIM and the local LSU Alumni Association. He was a proud LSU Tiger.
Don will be remembered for his sense of humor, dedication to his family, faith and country. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Services for Don will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL on Monday November 18th at 11:00am. There will be a reception following the service.
