Retired Lieutenant Colonel Donald F. Miles, born on March 23, 1939, in Claiborne, Texas, passed away peacefully. He was the son of Willard and Wilma Miles, whose love and guidance he carried with him throughout his life.
Donald dedicated many years of honorable service to his country in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. A highly skilled and courageous fighter pilot, he flew more than 200 missions during his military career, exemplifying bravery, precision, and unwavering commitment to duty.
Following his military career, Donald served as an administrator of the Arizona Department of Transportation, where he met his beautiful wife, Jodi. They married in 1993 and began a lasting partnership built on love and devotion.
After his distinguished career, Donald enjoyed a quieter life, finding comfort in simple pleasures and the companionship of his beautiful wife, Jodi, and their loyal dog, Princess.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Miles.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi; his daughter, Kendra Clark (Kevin); and his grandson, Jacob, as well as his beloved dog, Princess.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
