Donnajo Smith Denham

Donnajo Denham was a caring wife, grandmother and friend. She left this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born to Harry and Ruth Barnes Smith on August 24, 1939, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

She attended Cottey College, The University of Tulsa and Radford College. She worked with the American Red Cross, in higher education and as a mental health counselor.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Jim Denham.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Mike Denham and his wife Pat, Susan Chafin, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was an avid reader, a member of PEO and a member of College Park United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Residing Hope Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, FL in her name.
