Doyle Dwight Rice Lakeland – Doyle Dwight Rice 69, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born on January 27, 1949, to the late William and Mary Rice in Springfield, Tennessee. Doyle was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by sister, Wanda Rhymes; his brother, Larry Rice and his sister-in-law, Pam Rice Doyle is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Rice; sons, Kenneth and Kevin Rice; stepsons, John Nelson, II and Randy (Amie) Nelson; brother, Mitchell Rice; sister, Shelly Rice; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 1-2 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33801. Inurnment will take place at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
