Eleanor Campbell

Eleanor J Campbell, age 78 (born November 4, 1943), returned to her heavenly home on August 28th, 2022. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Eleanor received a diploma from The Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, after completing a three year program of classes and clinical experience. After graduation, she passed the state board exams to become a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and relocated to Springfield, Mass, where she worked in Pediatrics for one year. She then relocated to Drexel Hill, PA, where she worked at Delaware County Hospital for three years, becoming the Assistant Head Nurse before leaving due to medical problems. In 1976 she and her two sons, Jim and Steve, relocated to Lakeland, FL, where she lived the rest of her life. She enjoyed the church, studying the Bible, letter writing, crafts and visiting with her friends.
