Eugene C Patzer

Lakeland: Eugene C. Patzer, of Lakeland, died on July 13, 2018, at the age of 100. He was born on February 1, 1918, in Ashland, Wisconsin. Eugene served his country for 3 years in the United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and also loved hunting. Eugene was a member of the Imperial Lakes Country Club and he was also a life member of the Elks Club. He also was a violinist and played for a symphony in Wisconsin. Eugene retired from the E.I. DuPont Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; parents, Frederick and Martha Patzer; a sister, Marjorie Thogersen; and a brother-in-law, David Swanson. He is survived by his daughter, Carole Habermann (Melvin Liddell) of Muskego, WI; two nieces, Barbara and Deborah; his very devoted friend Dolores Hawkins; and best friends Rick Nolte and Art Lockridge. Services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to VITAS for the outstanding care given to Eugene; also a thank you to VISTE.
