Gene Allen Gettig Retired Air Force Lakeland – Gene Allen Gettig passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was born on March 10, 1930, in Bellefonte, PA, to Henry Gettig and Elsie Johnstonbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Mary; 3 children, Janet, Frank, Keith; 4 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805.
