Genevieve Colin Bender

Genevieve Colin Bender, 96 School Teacher Lakeland- Mrs. Genevieve Colin Bender died on March 31, 2014 at Highlands Lake Center of natural causes. She was born May 19, 1917 in East Chicago, Indiana. Mrs. Bender was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, Syracuse, Indiana and she was also a member of the Indiana State Teachers Union and the Order of the Eastern Star, Goshen, Indiana, #397. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Lindsay and sister, Marie McNabb. Survivors include granddaughters, Andrea (Robert) Norgard, Christine (Anthony) Sheppard, and 6 great grandchildren.
