Harold Milton Lungmus

Harold Milton Lungmus, 87, of Lakeland, passed away November 7, 2022.

Born February 22, 1935, in Batavia, Ohio, he was a son of the late William and Hannah Lungmus.

Harold was also preceded in death by this loving wife, Karen, and son, Dwayne Lungmus.

He is survived by his two sons, Dan Lungmus and wife, Sherrie, and Doug Lungmus and wife, Tracy, as well as seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Harold and Karen moved from Ohio to Avon Park in 1969, and settled in Lakeland a year later. He worked as a carpenter most his life. He retired from the maintenance department at Florida Southern College.

He also was a 50 year plus member of the Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio.

Harold loved fishing, hunting and camping. He and Karen’s favorite pastime was antiquing and going to yard sales, including the 600 mile yard sale through many states on the East coast.

Visitation will be held at 7 pm followed by a memorial service on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 7:30 at Heath Funeral Chapel.

A reception will follow in the Tribute Center.
