Henry Clark Badcock, Sr.

January 24, 1959 — May 19, 2026

Henry Clark Badcock, Sr., age 67, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 19, 2026. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, businessman, and friend whose life was marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wogan S. Badcock, Jr. and Mary Robison Badcock.

He is survived by his longtime partner and fiancée, Dang Williamson; his son, Henry Badcock, Jr., his granddaughter, Penelope Badcock, his siblings Mary Badcock Stiles, Liz Daughtrey (Bill), Wogan S. Badcock III (Michelle), and Ben Badcock, Sr. (Alyce). Dang’s children Kate Jimenez (Oscar), Amy Pack (Travis), and Steven Williamson (Kendra). Dang’s grandchildren Annaleigh, Michaela and Luke Jimenez, and Asher and Liam Williamson. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

Henry graduated from McCallie School in Tennessee before continuing his education at Florida State University and Florida Southern College, where he earned a degree in business.

Following his education, Henry joined his family’s business, Badcock Home Furniture & more, where he worked professionally until retirement. Over the years, he served in many leadership roles, including President, Chairman of the Board, and Head of Strategic Planning, helping guide the company’s continued growth and prosperity.

Outside of his professional and civic life, Henry had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time working on his farm— activities that reflected both his hardworking nature and his appreciation for the simple beauty of life. To spend an hour with him over lunch, he would leave you smiling and laughing about his escapades across the world. Henry could tell a story like no one else!

Henry will be remembered for his leadership, generosity, strong family values, and enduring friendships. He leaves behind many dear friends and loved ones who will miss him greatly.
