Jack K Vick Lakeland – Jack K Vick passed away peacefully on March 2, 2018 with family at his side. He was born in Memphis, TN on May 29, 1928 to James and Fredrica Vick. Jack served in the Korean War, during 1950-1952. He was co-owner of Southern Glass Products in Lakeland, Fl. Then he became co-owner of Parker Glass in Winter Haven, FL. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He had a tremendous work ethic and believed keeping his word was very important. Jack was married to his childhood sweetheart, Erma Vick, for 66 years and his biggest joy was his family. He was generous to a fault, enjoyed helping people and would have housed the world if he could have. He never met a stranger and if you knew Jack then you knew he had a wicked sense of humor. His family considered themselves blessed and fortunate to have such an amazing person and wonderful father in their lives. He is leaving a tremendous hole in their hearts. He is survived by his children, Jack, Jr., Teresa and Marcia; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Kevin), and Emily and great grandchild, Sebastian. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 8, 2018 with a service at 11:00 am at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2:00pm Memorials can be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
