Born November 7, 1995 in Rochester, NY and passed on June 6, 2025 in Tampa, FL. Predeceased by great-grandparents Albert and Viola Gilman, grandparents John Allen, Rosemary Griffin, John Drexel, Norbert and Mary Dennstedt, cousin Brittanee Drexel Survived by father Jeffrey (Nancy) Allen, mother Keri Drexel, fiancé Calvin King, brother James Allen, sister Therese Dollard, grandmother Linda (Richard) Wolpert, uncles Arnold Allen, Ron Gilman, John Griffin, Dennis (Mary) Allen, Chad (Kristy) Drexel, Douglas Dennstedt, aunt Rita (Jim Howitt) Griffin, many cousins and friends both in Rochester and Tampa.

Jeffrey moved to Bradenton, FL at the age of five and graduated from Manatee High School in 2014. Jeffrey then attended the University of South Florida, Tampa, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2018, and his Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics in 2024. He interned at the Children’s Home Network in 2018 and worked as a Certified Behavioral Therapist at the Florida Autism Center from 2020 until his passing and truly enjoyed his work and loved all the kids. He loved animals and leaves behind his aquarium and his beloved rescue cat Nova. He played soccer as a child, played Final Fantasy and Gauntlet, enjoyed science fiction and mythology, invented the card game “Index Monsters” with his cousins and brother, loved camping with his family and friends and was particularly talented with campfires earning him the nickname Firestarter. Jeffrey treasured his time with his family and was the best son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend you could have. His absence leaves a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

No prior calling hours. All are invited to attend Jeffrey’s Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 24th at 11:15 am at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffrey’s memory to Lollypop Farm or The Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
