Jerry Lee Devore

With unexpected sorrow, we announce the passing of Jerry Devore, age 63, who passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Florida.

Jerry was born on May 20, 1962, in Chester, West Virginia, to Richard and Judy (Lynch) Devore.

He was an amazing and devoted husband to his beloved wife, Pam, and a loving father to his son, Michael, and daughter, Lori. Jerry and Pam were married on July 2, 1983, in Lisbon, Ohio, and shared over four decades of marriage together.

Jerry was a remarkable, loving, and devoted Papa to his grandchildren: Zackery, Hannah, Sophia, and Robert. If the grandkids wanted it, Papa made it happen. He loved each of them with all his heart and cherished every moment spent together. He especially enjoyed taking them camping, fishing, and on family vacations, creating memories that will be treasured forever. He also found great joy in cooking for those he loved.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Army as a cook and was a veteran who spent time stationed in Germany.

He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years employed at Coca-Cola in Auburndale, Florida. Jerry was respected for his strong work ethic, as well as his wisdom and knowledge on the job.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Judy and Richard Devore. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Tania) Devore; his sister, Judy (Rob) Juszczak; and his brother, Bill (Lenore) Devore.

Two services will be held in Jerry’s honor. A service will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Edgewood Church of Christ in Lakeland, Florida. A second service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, Florida.
