John Bickel, Jr

Lakeland - John Bickel Jr., 90 passed away on January 2, 2021. John was born in St. Louis, MO and lived in Green Cove Springs, FL prior to moving to Lakeland to be near his family. John is survived by his wife, Ruth of 68 years, Daughters, Deborah (Ken) Daniels of St. Louis, MO, Patricia (Robert) Bazley of Lakeland, FL, son, John J. Bickel (Johanna) of Seoul, South Korea, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and sports enthusiast. He especially enjoyed his St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. There are no services at this time. John will be interred in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery later in the Spring.
