Joseph David "Wimpy" Weathers

Wimpy was born in Plant City, Florida and lived most of his life in Lakeland. Wimpy was a welder/fitter all his life - working for Robinson Fans of Florida for many years. He had been retired for several years.

Wimpy was a loving husband to Sheila for 32 years. He was a precious son and brother who always thought of others first - always willing to go out of his way for the other person.

Wimpy love life, he loved people and he loved a good joke - giving and receiving. If he gave you a nickname it meant you were special to him.

Wimpy is preceded in death by his parents, Donald J. and Mattie Mae Weathers; brothers, Donald Ray Weathers, James Harold “ Cow boy” Weathers. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Weathers; brothers, William Gerald Weathers and John (Shawna) Webster; sister, Barbara ( Alan) Watts.
