Kathleen Veronica Price

Kathleen Veronica Price, 80, of Bartow, Florida, passed away January 28, 2022, in Lakeland, Florida. Kathy was born January 20, 1942, to Joseph and Jane Smith in Detroit, Michigan who later moved to Florida and raised their children in Tampa. Kathy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL. She loved her Irish roots and recalling memories of a trip to her ancestral homeland. Her greatest love was for her beautiful great-grandchildren that brought her so much joy later in life. She retired from Polk County Clerk of Courts and enjoyed the privilege of bringing new families together conducting wedding ceremonies as a Notary Public. Kathy is survived by her two daughters Sheila Losh and Veronica Kane (Matt), grandchildren Natalie Phillips (Steve), Matthew Kane (Amy), Tyler Kane (Melissa), Ryan Losh and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, February 04, 2022, at 3:00PM at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S Ingraham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org) in her honor.
