Lillie Jean Lopez

June 15, 1985 — November 14, 2024

Lillie Jean Lopez, 39, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on November 14, 2024, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness, creativity, and tenacity. Born on June 15, 1985, "Jeannie" - the name she has gone by since childhood - was the cherished daughter of Julia and Joey Stanford, a devoted wife to Ryan Lopez, and the proud and loving mother to their daughter, Pepper.

A graduate of Fort Meade High School, Polk State College, and the University of South Florida, Jeannie was deeply rooted in her Florida community, continuously giving back in ways both big and small. Over the past 5 years she founded Revival, a craft cocktail bar, and Peach House, a trendy new restaurant, both in Lakeland. Both businesses blossomed under her visionary leadership. Through these ventures, Jeannie became an inspiring force, known for her unmatched dedication as a business owner, her remarkable creativity, and her commitment to quality. Her establishments became places where others could feel seen, celebrated, and connected, reflecting her unique gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Jeannie was known for her zest for life and the things she loved. She was an avid reader with a knack for crafting the perfect cocktail, utilizing her expertise to help people form deep and lasting bonds. A true adventurer, she traveled extensively, finding joy in exploring the world, its flavors, and its natural beauty. Whether hiking through Florida’s landscapes or seeking new destinations across the world, Jeannie found peace in nature and adventure, a passion she shared with her family and friends.

Her character was bold and inimitable. Jeannie's wit and unflinching honesty were matched only by her loyalty and generosity, qualities that endeared her to everyone fortunate enough to know her. A true and loyal friend, she was known for her charitable spirit, often giving selflessly to those in need and contributing to causes close to her heart. Her impact extended far beyond her businesses; she was a beloved figure in the Lakeland community, known for her warm presence and the countless ways she made lasting impressions in others’ lives.

She is survived by her husband, Ryan, her daughter Pepper, and her parents Julia and Joey.

Jeannie's life will be honored on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Grace City Church in Lakeland: Visitation at 4:00pm and a Celebration of Life at 5:00pm, with a Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, her family invites donations to the Pepper Project on GoFundMe, a fund created for the benefit of her beloved daughter. (https://gofund.me/20952106)

Though she is gone far too soon, Jeannie’s light will continue to shine brightly in the countless lives of those she touched as a brilliant creator whose memory and impact will remain a source of strength and inspiration.
