Lynn Ruth Burns

Lynn Ruth Burns, age 77, of Lakeland, FL, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. Born in Troy, New York, on February 8, 1948, Lynn resided in Lakeland since 1962. A hairdresser for many years, she returned to school in midlife to obtain her medical CNA license and remained in that field until retirement. She was a dedicated, beloved employee and friend of the Rohr Home skilled nursing facility in Bartow, FL, for 20 years, where she selflessly loved and cared for residents, families and coworkers alike.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Burns; her parents, and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Brian Burns, and Heather Moore (James); her brother, Mark Crouch; two granddaughters, Shaleigh Moore (25) and Avary Burns (19); as well as number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 2180 S. Kissengen Ave, Bartow, FL.
