Margaret Byrd Dalton

Margaret Byrd Dalton 84 Homemaker Lakeland- Mrs. Margaret Byrd Dalton died on October 7, 2011 at Southland Suites of heart failure.. She was born February 25, 1927 in Pierce, Florida. Mrs. Dalton graduated from Mulberry High School and attended Stetson University. She was a member of the Junior League of Greater Lakeland and a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Woman""s Missionary Union, Circle 10, member of the Caregiver""s Group, and a member of the Vanguard Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Oscar D. Dalton, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah D. (Dennis) Campbell, of Miami, sons Oscar D. (Cathy) Dalton III and Edgar Dalton, both of Lakeland, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and brother Robert J. Byrd. Memorial Services will be held on Monday October 10, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church.
