Margaret Smith, 87 Lakeland: Margaret Smith, 87, of Lakeland, died on January 2, 2014 from cancer. She was born on October 1, 1926 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to cook and travel, and loved her plants and flowers. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Lewis Smith; Survived by her children; daughters Margo (Buddy) Insley, Cynthia (Dave) Weber and son Wayne (Bonnie) Smith. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
