Marilyn Sager

April 13th, 1947 – March 5th, 2023

Marilyn Sager, born and raised in Galeton, Pennsylvania and a longtime resident of Stuart, Florida, went to be with our Lord on March 5th, 2023. She most recently resided in Lakeland, Florida. Marilyn graduated from Lock Haven University in 1968. A devout Catholic, Marilyn was a woman of great faith who worked as an elementary schoolteacher for more than three decades. Most notably, she taught for 31 years at St. Joseph Catholic School. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother, and as a kind and wonderful teacher and role model to countless children. Marilyn was active in many church groups and volunteered with many organizations serving those in need. She is survived by her husband, Dave, three children: David Mark (and Stacey), Kari (and Lance), and Joshua (and Jess), and five grandchildren: Evan, Henry, William, Elliot, and Nora. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida at 10:00 AM on March 18th. Heath Funeral Chapel of Lakeland, Florida is providing memorial arrangements and services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
