Bates, 98 Elementary School Principal Lakeland- Mrs. Marion Byrnes Bates died February 21, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family, Kathleen (Alan) Fiero, niece, Voorheesville, N.Y., Lynda (Jim) Pelichowski, niece, Windsor, Co., and nephew, Daniel (Jennifer) Byrnes, Glenmont, N.Y. She was born April 30, 1914 in Herkimer, New York. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, Fl. Services will be held in Herkimer, N.Y.
