Mary Coil Barker went with the Lord on January 6, 2024. Mary was born in Gillett, PA. She came to Lakeland in 1972. Worked at Bunker Hill Dodge, and for several years at Publix in retail accounting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tracy and Leona Clark, Sr.; husband, Wesley C. Coil; second husband, John A. Barker, Sr.; brother, Tracy Clark, Jr. and Robert E. Clark, Sr.; sister, Theresa Winton and sister Frances Skordinski..
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila M. (Donald) Preston; Sisters, Shirley (Glen) Longnecker; grandchildren, Andrew and Tom Ballard, Courtney M. Post, David Scott M. Preston; sons in-law, John A. Barker and Cassandra Barker, Jeffrey, and Bonnie Barker; step grandchildren, Deborah, Johnathan and Judith Barker, Sarah, and John Wilson; 5 great-grandchildren.
Mary was a member of Legacy Christian Church.
The burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
