Nannie Kate Eckhardt, 100, of Port St Lucie, Florida, passed away on November 11, 2024.
She was born on December 7, 1923, in Wood, Virginia to Earl and Dixie Nickels.
Nannie Kate was predeceased by her parents, husband and siblings.
She is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and other family members.
Visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801 on November 19, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513 on November 20, 2024, at 12:30 pm.
The family would like to thank St. Lucie County Fire District, Port St. Lucie Police Department, and Reliable Solutions Treasure Coast staff for their service and support.
