With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Peter Sinclair More, who departed this life on February 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on November 12, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, Pete lived a life marked by devotion, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the people he loved.

Pete built a distinguished career as a Corporate Executive, earning the respect of colleagues and employees through his leadership, fairness, and unwavering work ethic. Yet his greatest accomplishments were found not in boardrooms, but in the relationships, he nurtured throughout his life.

He was known for being a wonderful, non-judgmental listener, and someone who offered thoughtful guidance without ever imposing. Pete had a gift for conversation-engaging, warm, and full of insight. Whether sharing stories, offering comfort, or simply being present, he made others feel heard, valued, and understood.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Nina and Alec More, his brother Alexander, and his beloved wife of 55 years, Jackie More, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership, joy, and enduring love.

A devoted father, Pete, is survived by his seven children: Joyce More, Jackie More, Keith More, Melissa More, Leslie Wenhold (Darrin), Pete More, and David More (Jen). His steady guidance, humor, and gentle wisdom shaped their lives in lasting ways.

He was a proud grandfather to Jenny, Kayle (Andy), Jordan (Tiffany), Kristin, Zachary, Austin, Hunter, Reagan, Conner, Ian, and Christian, and a delighted great-grandfather to Isabella, Leland, Aria, and Sawyer. Pete treasured each of them deeply.

He is also survived by Jo (Steve), Nancy, Debbie (Dave), Linda, and many other loving family members who will forever hold his memory close.

A private family service was held on Saturday, February 14th, at Oak Hill Burial Park, where loved ones gathered to honor his life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate your time and effort to supporting those suffering from cancer and dementia.

Pete's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. Whether through his steady presence, his uncanny humor, his thoughtful words, or the countless acts of love he offered without hesitation, he touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy-rooted in family, love, and integrity—will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind.

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will remain a blessing and a source of comfort for all who were fortunate enough to share in his remarkable life.
